Many of the top attractions are located along Las Vegas Boulevard (“The Strip”). Walking is not only free but also part of the experience. Just wear comfortable shoes — distances can be longer than they appear.
The Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip, stopping at major hotels and the Convention Center. It's fast, air-conditioned, and avoids street traffic. A one-ride ticket costs around $5, with multi-day passes available.
Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are widely available and often cheaper than taxis. Most hotels have designated pickup zones to make things easy. Just remember prices can surge during busy hours.
The “Deuce” is a double-decker bus that runs 24/7 along the Strip and to Downtown. A 2-hour pass is just $6, and a 24-hour pass is $8. It’s a great way to see the city and save money at the same time.
Some off-Strip hotels and shopping centers offer free shuttle services to and from the Strip. Always check with your hotel concierge — it could save you time and cash.
Many busy intersections on the Strip have elevated walkways (with escalators and elevators) to keep foot traffic safe and smooth. They’re especially useful for crossing between major casinos without waiting at street lights.
